Climbing Preparation

Climbing Kilimanjaro requires physical fitness and proper preparation. Participants must be in good health and provide a medical certificate confirming fitness for high-altitude trekking. We recommend training with hikes and cardio exercises several months in advance.

Health and Safety

All climbers must undergo altitude acclimatization. We provide experienced guides, porters, and medical support. However, climbing involves risks including altitude sickness, weather conditions, and physical strain. Participants climb at their own risk.

Payments and Deposits

A deposit is required to secure your booking. Full payment must be made 60 days before the climb date. We accept various payment methods including bank transfers and credit cards. Prices include guides, porters, meals, and accommodation.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations made more than 60 days before departure receive a full refund minus administrative fees. Between 30-60 days, 50% refund. Less than 30 days, no refund. In case of medical emergencies or force majeure, we will work with you for rescheduling.

Weather-related cancellations may result in partial refunds or rescheduling. We recommend travel insurance covering trip cancellations and medical emergencies.

If you must descend early due to health reasons, no refunds will be given for unused services, but we will assist with evacuation.

Equipment and Gear

We provide essential climbing gear including sleeping bags and tents. Participants must bring personal items:

  • 1. Waterproof jacket and pants
  • 2. Warm layers and thermal clothing
  • 3. Sturdy hiking boots
  • 4. Sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen)
  • 5. Water bottles and personal medications
  • 6. Daypack and trekking poles.
