Safari Questions
Our safari packages include accommodation in lodges/tents/camps, all meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner), park entry fees, game drives with experienced guides, 4x4 safari vehicle transportation, and bottled water. Airport transfers and optional activities may incur extra charges.
The best time for safari is June to October during the dry season when wildlife viewing is excellent. The Great Migration can be seen in Serengeti from December to July. For fewer crowds and lower prices, consider the green season (November-May).
Yes! Tanzania offers excellent Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, rhino) viewing. Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti are prime locations. Note that rhinos are more elusive - Ngorongoro is your best bet for spotting them.
Pack neutral-colored clothing, layers for cool mornings, comfortable walking shoes, sunhat, sunglasses, sunscreen, insect repellent, binoculars, camera with zoom, and personal medications. Avoid bright colors and excessive jewelry.
Kilimanjaro Climbing Questions
No technical climbing experience is needed - you don't need ropes or climbing gear. However, good physical fitness is essential. We recommend a training program including cardio and hiking before your climb.
Lemosho and Machame routes offer the best acclimatization and highest success rates (85-90%). Marangu is the easiest but has lower success rates. Rongai is good for dry season. Northern Circuit offers the most scenic experience.
Success rates vary by route: Marangu (50-60%), Machame (70-80%), Lemosho (80-90%), Northern Circuit (85-95%). Success depends on proper acclimatization, physical fitness, and weather conditions.
Summit temperatures can drop to -15°C to -25°C (-5°F to -13°F) at Uhuru Peak. You'll need warm layers, expedition jacket, gloves, balaclava, and hand warmers. Base camp is much warmer at 5-15°C.
Zanzibar Beach Questions
June to October offers the best weather with sunshine and low humidity. December to March is also warm and dry. The long rains (March-May) can bring some closures. Avoid the short rains (November) for ideal beach days.
Yes, Zanzibar is generally safe for tourists. We work with reputable hotels and guides. Take normal precautions - don't leave valuables unattended, be aware of your surroundings, and respect local customs.
Absolutely! Most travelers combine a safari + beach holiday. We offer packages that include 2-3 days safari followed by 3-5 days at a Zanzibar beach resort. It's about 1-hour flight from Serengeti/Zanzibar.
